On Sunday, December 25^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of 7^th Avenue. Through investigation police formed ground to believe that a 42-year-old West Grey man had recently assaulted another person on different occasions. The victim suffered minor injuries. Hanover Police arrested and charged the man under the Criminal Code with two counts of Assault. He was later released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
