On Thursday, October 6^th, 2022, Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of 8^th Street. After speaking with the involved people police formed reason to believe a 25-year-old Hanover woman had assaulted another person. The assault was after a verbal argument. Hanover Police have charged the woman under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was later released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
