On Wednesday, September 28^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of 12^th Avenue. Through investigation police formed ground to believe that a 23-year-old female had assaulted another person. The people were known to each other and the assault was as a result of a verbal argument between the two. Hanover Police have charged the female under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
