On Tuesday, July 29^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service received information about an assault, which had taken place a couple days earlier. Through investigation, police formed grounds to believe that a 23-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another person. The victim did not require medical attention. Hanover Police have arrested and charged the man under the Criminal Code with Assault. He was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
