On Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, members of the Hanover Police were operating a patrol vehicle equipped with an Automatic License Plate Recognition (Reader). The device alerted an officer to a driver who was unlicensed and driving without insurance. A traffic stop was completed on 10th Street and police confirmed the information as provided by the ALPR. Hanover Police have charged a 28-year-old Mildmay woman for being unlicensed and driving without insurance. She has an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
